Joe & Beth Hadfield, Lydia, Emily & Tilly
Joe has now started his training for ordination. He is completing his Master’s degree in Theology whilst on placement at St Mary's in Cheadle and will be ordained in July 2023.
Please pray that this time of training would be fruitful and formative to be better equipped for serving the Church. Please pray he would have the energy to balance his studies, placement, and looking after his family.
Beth is currently working part-time as a family support worker for Family Action at the mother and baby unit at HMP Styal prison. Pray for her work, that she would guide them as parents whilst giving the support they need during challenging times. Pray that the work of Family Action would help many to not re-offend, but give opportunities for them to have safe and fruitful lives for themselves and their children.
Lydia (6yrs), Emily (4yrs), and Tilly (1 yr old) are all enjoying their respective schools and nurseries and taking part in many after-school activities. Pray for the continued work of our Lord in their lives, for us as parents to continue to work at teaching them to live and speak for Jesus as they grow up in an increasingly tough environment at school etc, that they would continue to ask questions and discern what it means to follow Jesus in their lives.
